I found the circular saw attachment when clearing Dad's shed, again if anyone wants it they are welcome.

It’s ok thanks. I’ve got the ‘proper’ ones but cheers anyway.
Stick them on eBay. I looked out of curiosity a year or so back and they were going for what I’d say was daft money.

Acquired some painting rollers, but on the way we stopped by the house clearance salvage place to see if anything of interest. In a dark corner under some rubbish there were a few broken tools, some crowbars, and a couple of 24" Record pipe wrenches; which came home with me.

I agree, have the same feeling when someone hands me a shovel. I tell them, I'm not qualified to operate that piece of equipment.
I couldn't pass the wrenches up though. Better to have them and not need them than need them and have to dip deep in your wallet when you do need them.

I‘ve got a 24 inch set, only very very occasionally I’ve used it, but stuff gives up when you show it the Stillsons.

Being retired, I doubt I'll have much use for them.
I gave the large 36 incher's to my buddy overseas but kept the smaller ones just in case. Will be having a rummage through some containers soon as this weekend we will finally be transferring stuff out of the storage unit, so I might be finding the Weller soldering gun tips for you and @Seadog.

Found this on Facebook, I only wanted the Trolley as I get older all the heavy stuff is being put on wheels, but they wouldn't split.
Never seen a Gedore Adjutant trolley before, really well made, Bloke told me the welders been on it for 40 years and it all works fine.

The problem doing it that way is the platform is restricting access ! So much easier and quicker on a two poster . Time is money
A new benchtop band saw that arrived earlier this week:
A welcome addition to the mancave that will save me having to saw stuff like canoe paddles by hand:
Not sure about the supplied plastic push stick, seen here with its cousin that came with the planer/thicknesser:
Might have to make a couple from offcuts of ash or beech at some stage once I get the bandsaw set up and make sure the table and fence are square.
And this arrived this morning which should put paid to dodgy auto wiring connections:

Got round to taking 4 cylinders in for inspection that I intended to take in last year only to discover that 8 of them are now out of test. 8 cylinders for visual and hydrostatic testing at £40 each =

Dip the ends of your stripped wires in silicone grease before you crimp them. Stops moisture tracking up inside the cable as well as protecting the crimp from corrosion.
Even better, do that then use heat shrink in line crimps.

Not today as usual but recently a nice starret auto punch the cheapie from screwfix wouldn't mark butter
wasn't cheap though .and after a visit to doubleboost last week to swap some filler rods I was gifted a nice little metal cabinet
and finally a car boot on sunday supplied two joiners bench vices only wanted the quick release one . One record and one woden both about 7" jaws but came as pair with much cheapness and a little wesco oil can
if any one wants the woden get in touch .
