Little and large!

And there am I thinking that I don't own any classics, they are all just old:That means my Volvo V40 T4 is a modern Classic at 20, my Nissan Terrano 23 and '95 Speed Triple positively ancient!
Hello all, first post . The old girl, just 40 .View attachment 284714View attachment 284714
Ahh, the too many projects...Yes still drowning in it all Mat
Bob
Well if they count I'll add a GPz900R '85 and GPz 550 '84 both suffering badly..And there am I thinking that I don't own any classics, they are all just old:
2008 Vito 115 cdi
2005 BMW E61 530i
1999 Audi A4 1.8T
1997 Kawasaki ZX9
1985 Kawasaki ZL400 (Mrs. Zx9's)
1984 Kawasaki Gpz1100 A2
1976 Range Rover 2dr.
The first three are on the road and in regular use, the next two are complete but untaxed the last two are stalled projects.
In the Autumn when the ULEZ comes out to the South Circular only the BMW will be daily charge free which ironically is the least economic to run, almost as thirsty as the V8 Range Rover on carbs.![]()
Range Rover should be ULEZ exempt...... if it ran!And there am I thinking that I don't own any classics, they are all just old:

Blue one has been restored, the white one is at atomic level
Nice, whats parts availability like ?Hello all, first post . The old girl, just 40 .View attachment 284714View attachment 284714
The blue one is a 1974 Citroen DSuper5. Five speed manual gearbox, pendant brake pedal. Very comfy (wife is asleep after 5 miles) but a lot of wind noise. Will cruise all day at 80mph (French motorways officer). What? Are they ? DS 's
I'm pretty sure it was the Olympic shell that formed the basis for the early production TVRs such as the Grantura.Rochdale Olympic Phase 2, originally fitted with 997cc Harry Ratcliffe (British Vita Racing) engine, swapped out for a Mexico engine taken out to 1660cc, brought our son home from the maternity unit in it, he was 45 last February. Part restored but interrupted by a series of health issues.
1957 Velocette Valiant and a 1984 Yamaha XT350, similarly awaiting restoration.

With all DS variants, the brake pedal is merely a switch. If there is no hydraulic pressure, no brakes.
This is almost there then - 1987...Classic 35 years old.
Hello ronan, my brother used to work at the factory, so a few parts left, apart from trochoid housings , cranks too I think. They will see us out probably !. He owns the original air cooled prototype..Nice, whats parts availability like ?

Flares, wings, dams, vents, spoilers, pop-ups... could only be the power-dressing 1980s![]()
