No Pics today but just changed the headstock bearings in my Hayabusa to be greeted with a flat back tire before the test ride...picked up a nail last time out on Friday (see pic)...tire with less than 50 mile on it too

a nice patch on the inside of the tire my mate bought 4 new toyo tires and got a puncture on second day was only a nail they wouldnt repair it . i buffed it up inside with a carbide rotary file and put a nice big patch on the job was sound and he got about a year out of it only doing 70 mph. im sure it did 150mph mind but could be mistaken

We used them for putting rubber sleeves over the end of cables back in my BT apprenticeship days. Probably use shrink wrap today.

I used a lot in the early 2000's.
The pink rubber sleeves are still used on Plessey style plugs.
They were nicked name, Virgins easers in the forces.

Replaced the liner on my old SIP MAG welder after advice on here.
Horrible job but it does work better!
I had to 'modify' the feed but its reversible to standard if it didn't work.
Used a standard Parweld liner and a 12mm nylon nut as a spacer.

The mounting bracket on the right of this glass shelf in the shower fractured yesterday while I was soaping my lower legs (easiest way to do it with my back problems). Luckily I was able to retain my balance and not fall though the glass wall of the shower.



The bracket looks like it's made of die cast. The problem was that the shower is now an obsolete design and that type of bracket is long out of stock. As luck would have it, I have a short length of 30 x 30 316 stainless channel which has rolled edges; my builder neighbour gave to me. I cut it to the same length and then converted it to a piece of angle, drilled it and fitted it. Problem quickly solved and at no cost.
