My parents car. 1999 Clio II.

Been running rough, plugs and ht leads connections.

It was an easy diagnosis, if you lean on a ht lead, it runs sweet, probably a crimp with some pliers, would have done it.

New leads and plugs 25 squid in euros, no.3 was loose, no.1 was different to the other sparkplugs?

Slightly more difficult to get to, and they didn't bother, and ignored it.

Battery died in the cold snap last week.

£120 quid of bits including a set of windscreen wipers, battery plugs and leads.

Plus a few Brownies points for you.

Made and fitted these brackets,Just in time for the rising river,been storing these in inaccessible places,time to make it easy,until I build a bigger workshop,unfortunately marine ply,outside for 3 years rots,what’s a practical plastic to use?

Made some holes for 10mm copper pipe. Osian (5 yr old grandson) and me did some sohcahtoa to get the drill angle somewhere close. Maybe the first one was 5mm high and the second 5mm low, but both there or thereabouts where some cheap trunking will hide them.
The radiator's only been waiting 10 years or so....

Screws tightened in 5 pairs of glasses, and a screw that fell out of one pair refitted.

1.4mm diameter screws are all well and good but not when you have hands the size of Eric Olthwaites's shovel .

I'm not saying i have cabin fever but yesterday the freezer drawer refused to come out, and after a split seconds loss of reason there were bits of freezer drawer all over the floor. I've just plastic welded it back together.

Do you want a laugh at my expense?
I just welded on a new wheel to my wheelbarrow, I bought a lovely wheel at the scrappy on solid a axel so was very pleased when my first attempt at welding old crappy metal actually worked!
Really chuffed I went to spin the wheel and realised it's a solid axel designed to run in bearings!
I now have a static flower planter.....

Dohhhhhhhh!
