Hello, first time poster here, im a motor mechanic in southwest ireland, read this thread from the start, very impressed with all your fine work. Heres one i did, finished yesterday, only my second time working with stainless, it went down well at home anyway!
Please dont zoom in on the bird doo thats holding the two leaves on! I hadnt set the welder low enough i think! Was too late last night finishing to be bothered grinding off the mess and hiding the sin ! The stem is 5mm od and the sheet was 0.5mm

Yesterday ive been working on a jobsite , 50km travel , went there , started doing but couldn't do anything .
I needed to switch the power off but they had to work so I couldn't and didn't work
Spent an entire morning there ,no money
-10 euros for gasoline .
-5 hours of my life nobody can give me back .
I'm tired of this jobsite , I've to finish it , but customer is avoiding me to work .
I can't work in those conditions.

Today went to buy firewood , loaded the car and once home discovered that seller put only big logs in the trunk.
Took the chainsaw ,the axe, a wedge and a sledgehammer.
Done myself .
Chainsaw failed ,still have to understand what happened.
Axe edge ruined

Replaced a mirror on my sister's Toyota again

Tomorrow another jobsite in the morning .
And plasma demolition of a concrete mixer in the evening .

I'll have to borrow the plasma cutter from a friend tomorrow afternoon

You make no mention of that fair maiden....?

Not pink. I used to take pink rubble tubs on site, thinking that no bloke in his right mind would "borrow" them. They drew them more than any other colour.

Wasn't the clients. It was the workmen & blokes in my lot. It was always the pink ones they borrowed. Blue, green, black etc. are safer bets, unless you fancy hunting round for your tubs.

I spent some more time trying to work out how that lot will all fit nicely in my 107*67*41mm extension. I bent some sheet for a lid and got it *exactly* the same size as the bit its supposed to fit inside, even after I adjusted for it

Solution , make attachment 300mm longer

I decided to recycle an old instrument case into something for my various parallels, blocks and an old M&W V block. I am quite pleased with the outcome. I left the original green baize in the base and covered the rest in some black that I have.
The 12" ruler gives the scale

That looks like a Bosch router? Never had bother with 'slippage' on my identical set-up - I just make sure the lock-off cam is really tight, but maybe yours has had more use over the years than mine.

Mine was second hand, don't think it had much use before me and it's probably only the 2nd or 3rd time I've used it in a few years.

I do clamp it tight but seems to work loose with use

I've got one of those little cheapo lifting tables from the bay that I use to support my router. Not only stops it slipping but makes adjustment a doddle.

Some straight and curved railings,galvanised,then powder coated,I rolled these on site,with my mobile rolls,shown here last year,all finished,installation by customer,were currently installing the patio railings and gate,watch this space for completion.

Oops, I read that as a pantyliner

I made the lid fit, found my small tap set and used M2.2 screws that I stole from a hard disc. 22 screws I think it will need 30 or 40 once everything is in.
Fan holes need enlarging should have used holesaw
