Why the all in one? Seperate one cheaper and not much more faff as you need to run an exhaust etc anyway.
Spot on with that power supply. Watch all those live terminals though

because the all in one also lends itself very well to camping too, or putting in my van when needed (with a spare exhaust etc)

I just sold my all in one heater, would not fit where I wanted it,
did a swap plus cash for a smaller one

First hour it ran produced a horrible smell, provoking a throbbing headache I've bought home.

Unpleasant smell to be expected for first few hours according to the manual. Doesn't mention headache.

Are you heating the space that the heater is in or is the outlet ducted to somewhere else? If somewhere else then duct the inlet to that space as well, that will prevent the heater from drawing fumes from the exhaust drain point. It should also heat the space quicker

That's the main, big, plastic, inlet - NOT the smaller, metal, inlet (the combustion inlet) - which should come from outside the heated space.

Evening folks, the air inlet for the heating air, there are two options...

A) from the outside, which reduces humidity in the boat.

B) from the inside, which doesn't reduce humidity, but greatly increases the heating ability as your recycling air, and not risking pulling in the exhaust gas, if the exhaust port, is too close to the air inlet, 20 cms suffices apparently.

Not my choice, and I would have gone for B anyway, which is what the company instructed.

I'll post some final installation photos shortly, it's all finished.

Minging smell has finally dissipated, works well, frankly...

Follow the yellow arrows, it wasn't clear, hence the yellow arrows, adm , intake, (admission in french), ech (echappement, exhaust in French), I think in the two, but work in French...

There's only a couple of mm difference between the two, so I didn't want to make a mistake..

Right, so previous post, first two photos show thé heated air inlet pipe, which comes out here between thé windows and thé fridge. I was concerned thé air pull could suck thé curtains Into thé air inlet, so after looking at available matériels, i repurposed a hob grill Into a anti curtains devices, and tested with a sheet and plastic sheet, thé actual curtains are heavier, and come to thé bottom of thé windows, so i'm happy, bottom covered...

I work for a hire boat fleet, no names please folks, this is a 11m 60, 2 cabins, 2 wc's / showers, corridor, and main kitchen saloon.

It's winter, we work April - October, and its toasty after 20 minutes at 9am this morning, no insulation on any of our boats.

Well except that Kevlar covered exhaust pipe..
