I've moved my L5a a couple of times. I used the old method of lift and pack ( 1 piece of cls each time) to lift it high enough to get a euro pallet under it and then pallet truck to move it, from the front to move around and from the headstock end to load into Ifor Williams box trailer that has a 2 ton electric winch fitted. Very stable definitely not top heavy ie roll off the pallet.
Weight wise I would say around 500kg. Bridgeport is 950kg and a real nightmare to move (I let the local professionals transport it, but euro pallet and pallet lifter in the garage, biggest problem was cutting up the pallet whilst pack and lower)
