This is Tractol enamel but red is a bugger as it doesn’t have much pigment.
It’ll look much better with a couple more coats on it
Yeah wd40 is pretty useless at most things other than what it was designed for (Water Displacement)I had WD40 all over mine... made no difference. Once I clean them up again I'm gonna coat with BLO, once it dries properly it works really well as a moisture barrier on steel. My jig table has lasted 3 years without any significant rust.
