I have often sent cr4p tools back to ebay sellers telling them what is wrong and suggesting that they ask the manufacturer to invest say 50p more in manufacture to make a much better product, truth is the factory door price for that item was probably less than 50p, as for CE marks, the China Export mark has proved very helpful in hoodwinking the public! if the EU had any b4lls they would ban the use of the China Export mark as opposed to the proper CE mark, is the CE mark not copywrite? or am I wrong about all this? @Parm
Your spot on, but sadly we have no regulatory power over what they do. Everyone knows they mostly produce rubbish that ends up all over the world
We do have systems in place here, but you would need a large army full time working on it.
Plus things are not helped by the massive growth of on line sales platforms. Its quite difficult to trace where some of the stuff comes from as there are all sorts middle men and nefarious channels involved.
Things will be different after puppy dog but I don't know how.
As an aside ive spent the last 6 months looking at Chinese imports. Lets just say I'm careful now where I buy certain products. Even this morning ive got details of protective coverall that I'm looking at. All sorts of claims are being made. A very fancy looking address is supplied. It checks out to a residential building in Spain. Ive now got to spend however long to demonstrate why I'm going to reject its supply
