a country with no morals making and selling lifting equipment. Just moved my hand in time
That’s bad!! Glad you’re ok. If it’s bought from Europart it should have a certificate of conformity? Is it bad supplier on their part or a fake I wonder? There was an issue a while back which is still ongoing about fake Crosby and certex lifting geara country with no morals making and selling lifting equipment. I'd never rely on just the axle stands. My anxiety wouldn't let me. Rule of three for me, especially working my truck. Axle stands, Trolley jack and the removed wheels underneath. Not perfect, but I work on my drive mainly and it's the best I have available to me.
Would you know if there is the press release about the shackles on there too please @Parm.Should be reported following the information in the link below

Stick to CrosbyI'm aware of the dodgy Chinese lifting eyes and there will be either a press release or safety alert somewhere on the system
They were! Fakes with all the right mouldings and certs and everything. Even they couldn’t tell with some of them. Steel was soft as a pensioners turd in the tests. We went through our gear where I was at the time and we were 99% sure we had noneStick to Crosby
