Nothing special, but it kept me happy.

The other day I melted two engines.
Leaving me with 2 cranks. The lower one was a pain. The Alternator was seized solid onto the shaft. In situ it was impossible to remove.

Nut off again, a make shift OE puller. Flat bar of metal and 3 bolts.
No, in the end a 10 ton puller was called in and a bit of heat.

Off, the issue was some one in the past had lost the Woodruff Key. So round up the nut super tight, jamming it on the taper shaft.

A circle offcut was brazed on using a paraffin torch.

This wee thing.
It was also used to head up the seized part.
Was also good to warm the whole lot up to burn any rust off and apply wax.

I need a bigger candle!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
