Also, pencil air grinders, 12.99 - I now have one of those too. And two pain au chocolate for second breakfast

There were 5 in Northwich at 8am, minus one for me :-)

Carefully check your pencil grinder, I bought one last time, got it home and tested - completely rubbish as the spindle was off centre so the bit wobbled and was unusable. Took it back to swap, checked another in the shop - spindle was central but hole for the bit was drilled at an angle.
I stood there and checked another 8 before I found one that was good :-(

I return empty handed, well not quite I did get a bunch of red roses.
Bell Green had a empty shelf under the label, all (4?) sold whilst Catford has no shelf label for them on the display. If they have all sold so quickly I expect they will be back again in six months or so.

Someone collected mine from Gravesend at 8.04 and there were only two left then. That's a brand new big store and the distribution centre is only half a mile away.
I reckon there is going to be some glum faces about Lidl stores tonight.

I only want it to put together an engraver pantograph... Saw it on YouTube, I think, looked 3D printable with a bit of adaptation?

They're really easy to make and work really well - I made one of these a few years ago (photos etc here).

Turned up at Inverurie lidl which is 500m from home at 0804, just as the girl opened the door and pushed the pallet truck outside with the screen wash etc, 2 other guys jumper out there vans and got the only 2 in stock, 5 seconds too late, so headed off to Bucksburn branch 14 miles away and they had 6 in stock, out the door there by 0837

Now to open it up and look for jumpers or anything obvious to make it a 40A capable machine

Was in Wymondham norfolk at 8.20am this morning to find them all gone, popped 5 miles down the road to Attleborough and bagged the last one in there luckily.
Had a couple of other options locally but thankfully didnt need to drive any further.

I can't see any jumpering, plug or otherwise. I suspect that the two pots on the top circuit board set minimum and maximum current.

So looks like 3 of the boards have the ECOCUT40 markings

ECOCUT40E006 ver1.3 2019.6.21 , initial power smoothing board
ECOCUT40EU003 ver1.1 2019.7.10 , proc board, has 2 trim pots right next to where current knob is connected to
ECOCUT40E001 -1 ver1.7 6/14/2019 , main IGBT board

There is a 4th board that takes some mains power from the IGBT board and supplies all the low voltage DC to the proc board, its not labebeled ECOCUT as its probably a generic power supply board for small computer type equipment

I notice that all these ECOCUT40 boards are dated after march 2019 when the first 40A welders were being sold in Ireland, so possibly newer revisions.

Couldn't get the main IGBT board out as looks like it is the starting point and everything including the chassis is assembled around it, so unable to see the markings on the transistors.

Dont some bits of kit have leccy fairies inside that can detect the max incoming supply.

I say this because The cut 50 I have, will cut thicker stock when fitted with 16amp commando socket than a 13amp plug top
