Walking to the train station last week there was what looked like a big old crank shaft and two half shafts left outside on the pavement for the itinerant 'metal men', all day I was thinking if they were still there in the evening I would have the half shafts, I don't know what for but I could turn something out of them.
On my way home that evening they were still there, it must be my lucky day I think until I get a closer look, the half shafts were two bits of water or gas barrel.
Like I said, I never find anything.

I always like to chamfer the ends of plated cases, to minimise the chance of the plating scraping off when bullet's are seated as it can become embeded in the jacket; it can be sure way to damage the bore as the hard chrome travels down the barrel.

I don’t reload the 270, not alllowed to use any thing but factory ammo
I load for my 243, hence why you never see me giving 243 cases away! Tried nickel cases once found them terrible to work with chips coming off when trimming the cases to size and leaving a very rough case mouth. Chamfering them didn’t help tidy them up. I did wonder if the Lee trimmer I use was maybe the problem, it does brass cases without any issues.

One of my housemates got the PlayStation VR for Christmas. I'm not a gamer by any stretch but the 3d effect was very convincing, I imagine a racing sim would look amazing with it

They are not for 70 yr old's apparently ...I dislocated my left shoulder on one of our Wii games , I was a racing car driver with the controller set in a steering wheel . I'm banned from it till the orthopaedic surgeon sees me next Monday .
Ok I'll confess, the shoulder has been knackered for 42 yrs , has always given me problems. Things flared up again in June last year with another serious dislocation , the appointment has only just come through but yes it fell out the joint again a few weeks ago when I was having a race game on the Wii with the family .

From what I've seen they Excel at racing Sims
I don't want to go the triple screen route this time and hoping this works for me.
Should be great for immersion.
Unfortunately my new gpu has 1hdmi and 3 display ports so couldn't test last night. Adapter arriving soon so fingers crossed.
It's old development kit but cost me 60 quid for a test
Il shell out for newer gear if it suits me.
Very old game so graphics aren't the best but it's still the best loose surface sim going.
Kept alive by the modding community.
