I will only be using them for the odd hole in sheet metal for switches or the like. The expensive ones are ok, not a precision tool, but they are not meant to be really. Not expecting much for a fiver.
The Titanium paint is tough stuffA packet of step drills for a fiver from Lidl, dunno if they are any use. Says on the pack they are HSS and titanium coated. Anyone use them ?

I got some a while ago, can’t say how well they work in metal, but used in plastic to punch a hole in a water butt & worked very well for that, nice clean hole.
