That just seems to be a general purpose adaptor (I don't speak German), I was looking for something that takes the lidl battery with a top that slots straight into the Hitachi power tool.

I could make something up, I have a few dead Hitachi batteries & when I bought the Lidl batteries they all came with a charger each so I could perform some surgery & make a Hitachiside battery!

You can use the adapter and the dead battery to make a transition adapter

Not a clue why, there was only one person in when they put it up and he didn't think to ask. We phoned our letting agent and the woman there didn't even know about it. It looks like they're coming back to extend it round the side of the house so I'll ask if I see them, it doesn't appear to be at a useful height for any work I can think of.
