THANKS MATE YOU ARE A STAR...

Its for sticking two toms on, most people use them for drums... BUT the bloody two cats next door are driving me mad... fightin , so when i goggled 'stopping two single toms clashing ' a picture of that thing came up, hmm ideal i thought , hopefully the two toms will have 22mm holes in them but when i catch the pair, they definately will !! Apparently its not the size of the hole, its the speed they are fitted !

Apparently it doesnt hurt... as long as you dont get your thumb between the tom and the pipe ??

The bloke in Bournemouth seemed quite surprised that you could see items as far afield as the south coast - especially when I explained you were so, so far up north!
Obviously I couldn't enlighten him about that - as FaceBook is a completely alien concept to me!
I always saw it as a "kids" thing - but you're both a smidge older than me - another mis-conception trashed, then!

My father in law had a pace maker fitted, he was a good ten years older than you at the time it changed his life, perhaps not for the better, he got run down in Guildford going to see a lady friend of his He ever did fully explain that one to his wife or anyone else.

I was never into "FB" but couple of my mates from rallying days live in usa and we started chatting coz we had a forty year reunion and we could "face time" them ie video call, basically.
BUT things get advertised on there, it was ideal for what I wanted and cheap at 25

Well doesnt matter how good ya heart is, it is difficult to run out of the way of cars with ya trousers round ya ankles. hehe
trouble with these tablets is my blood pressure is that low 110 / 50 i need a ratchet strap. to even see it! bit like a turtles head... well I exagerate more like a musk turtle...

google it ! wife always said it smelt of musk hmmm... now I know.

Cheers not sure if they will even do the op at mo , the heart guy said anesthetic was not good idea he said it was gonna be an open opp, but I want it done while im awake i think, he did say it needed a mesh and was urgent! I had a strangulated one 30 yrs ago and was a blue light job to hospital , at the moment im holding everthing in with womens support knickers and a hernia belt with a heavy elastic belt with the buckle over the lump strapping it in, but lifting gearboxes engines truck wheels etc on a daily basis doesnt help, i spose but gotta work cant stop, least im still young at 65 i wanna semi retire when my granddaughter is ten , she still just a scan picture at mo ...

Thought from reading the previous that you had a problem with cats and it was a device to castrate toms.

When I had the first 2 hernias I was servicing steam washers, lifting heavy boilers daily with no avoiding it. After the 2nd one I took a good break from work & changed jobs with less heavy lifting. Unfortunately the op failed again but my new employer was very understanding & I could avoid heavy lifting before the new op plus 3 months off work after the op then 6 months back on light duties, all still on full pay. With my previous employer if you didn't work you got no pay, holidays included!

The op is normally done with keyhole surgery now so I can't see why you need a full anesthetic.

That is what i thought but when i checked up when it preformed laparoscopic (keyhole) you have to be totally out because there is a chance of damaging the bowel that happened to mum during just a endascope and she ended up with septicaemia and a colostomy due to septic shock in hospital for 4mths and her heart stopped during opp so not wanting that tbh

Well tbh after he injected me with adrenaline my mind was not properly takin in everything and was racing a bit and shocked a lot, but prety sure he said 50 % which i thought was low ! Coz when he said 50 i thought well if the limit is 50 and i havnt achieved that wtf am i when he said 20 i remember thinking...oh flip !
I know they have changed hospitals locally for test, now coz his secretary told me he was getting more and more of these tests to be done, maybe they have changed criteria?
He said he didnt think i would acheive the minimum tbh, Will find out mon when my head is thinking straighter and report back

My doc said no one has 100% efficiency, Normal healthy person is around 60%. I was 15%. Now up to about 38%.
Minimum for HGV licence was 40% according to DVLA but needs forms signed by doc. All my licences, bike, car, LGV,PCV, tracks were taken off me inc HIAB. Now got car, bike and up to 3.5 tons GVW/GTW trailer so can still pull caravan.
Norm. I am sure if you take it easy now then you should see a marked improvement and feel so much better. Probably get HGV licence back and do almost as much as you do now. Good luck.
