A day to eat this.
While my Wife and I were washing our vehicles today, I acquired a nasty cut to one of my fingers from the plastic wheel cover on my van. First time I used the Germolene Liquid Skin product mentioned in another thread recently. Stings like a m***** *******initially, but then no pain after about a minute; great stuff for sure.

screwfix no nonsense superglue gel works for me.
Have used super glue on a couple of occasions in the past, but this Liquid Skin forms a patch or type of scab. The wheel cover took a chunk out of my finger rather than a slice which could be glued back together.screwfix no nonsense superglue gel works for me.
@8ob is your manThree IBC cages of firewood, we have coppiced a quarter of our main bit of wood. There's probably another 2 more IBC cages to go.

Getting it out was interesting, the woods are at the bottom of a steep field. Usually the field is soggy and I can't get the bobcat down there, but due to the dry weather I could take an IBC cage down there. Due to the steepness, I had to make sure the cages were nice and full to balance the bobcat for the way back up. I can reverse up but only with quarter of a cage, with a full cage I can go forwards up the hill no problem.
A fair bit needs splitting, I have a splitter and normally get a neighbours tractor around to supply hydraulics so I can use the bobcat for moving IBC cages once full. But I would rather do it myself when I need to but need some adapter hoses, or maybe just replace the hoses I have on the splitter.

And hydraulic fittings on the bobcat

I have a 3 point linkage adaptor plate for the front of the bobcat, I don't think the current hoses will reach so adapter hoses maybe the way to go so that if I do want to do a lot of splitting and get a neighbours tractor in, I can just unplug them.
I'm not sure what the different fittings are called, I can probably find out but I think I'll just take examples down to the hydraulic hose shop nearby.
Cheers

Your splitter is on standard 1/2" quick release couplings, the bobcat is on flat face couplings, again probably 1/2" unless it's a big one with Hugh Flow hydraulics. You just need a the male end of the flat face and swap the couplings over.
Edit, sorry that should be one male and one female as that's the opposite of what's on the bobcat.
