Think I mentioned these earlier called fly leads ? But after countless research online I never heard anyone mention them being used on tig welding set ups. Thank you

you will be fine with one of the above adaptors, if your welding a landy you wont be running the welder at full chat so the adaptor will cope no problem.

Used my Rtech Tig with one for a lot of welding. Easily get 160A ac and 180A for brief periods.

They have nothing to do with tig so why would you.
They are to connect a 16amp plug to a 13 amp socket.
Your not gonna be able to draw too much current before blowing the fuse but if your not welding full chat it means you can plug your welder in at your mates lock up and get the job done.

On the assumption there is a ring main in this guys unit why not just get a sparks to install a 16amp socket as a spur, you can always fuse it separately ( I never bothered) Ring mains normally have a 30/32 amp fuse backing them up, rightly or wrongly its what I did in my cave.

He won’t ever use it it’s just so I can weld an exhaust up for him I like to do it either in a workshop and the vehicle close by so I can triple check don’t have much confidence in my measurements
