Hello everyone,
Please bare with me on this one as I’m Fairly new to this, basically I’m wanting to do some tig welding on a friends Land Rover in his unit, his unit has 240v plug sockets which leads me into my next question. On British building sites we use 110v power and do so by using transformers. Is there anyway I could use a 110 transformer then use a 110 to 230 step up transformer. If so is this safe to do so? And how do they tig weld on site if 110 is all they have they must use a step up to get to 230v 16a? Thank you for your time
