yep mine sits there too...rare item them bushesAdapter
It's got to be grey brad.I think I will end up painting the lathe back to harrison grey.
Mine runs at 1000 in the low range 2000 in high I rarely go above the 1000Thanks @doubleboost.
I would like to get a larger fast motor or the two speed motor. Looks like it’s easy to swap. Would just have to get a different speed plate for the front.

will be 1425 rpm...btw i have a 3 phase original motor that came off my harrison 11" up for grabsThat’s good to know John - especially as I will also be using insert tooling like you.
I may keep my eyes open for a bigger motor. I wonder what speed the motors are that give 1000rpm at the spindle.

I would let it go for £50...How much are you wanting for it?
How many HP or kW?I would let it go for £50...
How many HP or kW?
And it will give me 1000RPM at the spindle?
So long as you have the same rpm rated motor the rpm at spindle will not change, only the torque differs when you change the horsepower.
But increasingly your motor speed by 25% will increase the lower speeds by 25%Yes I understand that but I want to go up a speed rating. So it’s no use me buying a motor the same RPM as my current one which gives me 750 at the spindle.
I want 1000 at the spindle.
see my post further down (post 38) to calculate shaft speed...i think its 2 pony and has the correct dual pulley size for the harrison, came straight off my 11"How many HP or kW?
