You've obviously not seen any episodes of "Salvage Hunters", they quite often buy old industrial tables, workbenches etc., quick clean up and they soon sell for a tidy profit to be used in someones kitchen.

And that mad dame who 'rescues' stuff from folk putting it in the skips, pays ridiculous amounts for the 'upcycling' then flogs it to 'clients' for even more ridiculous amounts. At least she does appear to return whatever profits she makes to the original owners.

I actually like that.

I wouldn't pay £25 for it but might make my own, maybe with a handful of graphite powder to darken both it and the hands of anyone who touches it.
