If it was a bigger machine I would. The hiab is on a 20 tonne lorry so access can be a problem with getting it in places

The additional T-slots are for attaching other tooling, such as a lever operated cut off tool, or in the case of a gap bed lathe, an adjustable tool post to reach over the gap to machine closer to a faceplate mounted part.

That Art Deco MEM gear is beautiful stuff indeed. A lot makes its way onto the market as key safes/other ‘vintage industrial’ tat wire brushed to oblivion. Sandblasting is particularly effective for cleaning these

It looks great i used to take it out of factories around 30 years ago and re sell it, the BILL range was the most common, my mate has a brick barn as a man cave and all the electrics i did with him using conduit and old switchgear.

There is a HUGE one like yours but with a semi-circular bulge at the bottom at the place I’m exhibiting my new artwork, I told the guys if they ever get rid of it please tell me.

The best stuff is the explosion proof gear! Hard to find and quite literally bulletproof!

I know the type you mean i used to see it at chemical places, I managed to keep 2 vapour proof strip lights made from cast aluminium, I have the in storage to strip and polish one day when my house is finished.
