tool delivery of an R-Tech P50HF plasma cutter today. Had a plasma cutter on my wish list of tools for a long time. Decided to take the plunge and ordered it on Tuesday evening after watching @doubleboost 's reviews of it on YouTube. I can't justify the cost of a Hypertherm as I'll not be using it on a daily basis.

I've never used one before and after setting it up this afternoon I had a quick play about with it. Very impressed with how effortlessly it cuts through steel. It'll take me a wee while to fine tune my use of it, but it will certainly revolutionise my metalworking projects and save a massive amount of cutting discs!

She's looking a bit old at the moment, get my defender sorted and she will get some love again. One thing I've learnt is that there is no such thing as too visible on a bike. I could have a massive neon sign above my head with flashing strobes and a klaxon, and people would still not see me

I saw an A hole in Wembley yesterday on a scooter riding one handed and texting.with the other, he then slowed for a red light checked there was nothing coming across the road then jumped the lights!!!

No today but few days ago when doing my electrics in the house I can test them yes I know there old but should give me an idea if things are wrong and help with cheating motors and transformers with the megger the box I think from memory is a rcd tester all for the sum of £15

Bought a box of stuff at an auction that contained some taps & dies. Didn't realise how many until I got it home & started sorting them out.

Most of them were BSW & BSF along with some metric & unc. There were also a few old files, a hammer & a bearing scraper. The real bonus was a selection of machine & hand reamers in small sizes, some still in their wax!

My whitworth tap set is now 90% complete with sizes from 1/8" to 7/8".
