A pick axe stamped US DIAMOND CALA 1944!

Any info on this?
If it's US made during WW2 I'd like to give it to the brother in law as he's going to buy a 1945 Willys Jeep. Might look good on the bonnet, sorry hood!

Still used by some Fishermen, excellent for sharpening their knives, if one is not available the harbour wall (sand stone) does a good job as well .

Nope. Removable carpenters vice. Could use it for the odd mitre I suppose. Holds vertically against the bench or horizontally on the bench. Handy for doors and windows too. Be a pig to set a mitre in that.

Got this swan neck oil can today, been sitting in dad's shed for years not being used as there's a hole in side of the tube.


Got home, 20 minutes later I'd desoldered the fitting on the end, trimmed the tube just beyond the hole and soldered it back on, works perfectly.

Only thing is, the end of the tube is threaded, 28tpi but an OD of exactly 0.2", perhaps its a pipe thread I don't know about? I may just make a new pointy end and solder it on.

Picked this nice Lister pump up yesterday with the intention of taking off the pump to run off my Lister D engine, trouble is it's so nice and original I may have to look for an alternator to run off the engine to power the pump

Just got a delivery from Amazon...

It's the screwdrivers I bought yesterday, I'm gonna miss Prime when my trial runs out.
I've yet to see how they perform but by first impressions are good.

They've all got this fancy "Laser tip" that makes it grip the screwhead better, no idea if it works but it looks cool. I may buy the micro set too, we'll see how these are first

Also got a heatshrink set, about 500 pieces from 1 to 10mm, I've needed a set for years but never actually bought any.
