A youngster helping someone across the road in this day and age, you have to be kidding; they are oblivious to anything that takes their eyes off of their phones while walking.

Around here if a kid took your arm and helped you across the road you would get to the other side only to find your wrist watch would be gone

Put a cassette on a while back. I'd played it so much as a kid I knew the tracks off by heart. The next track I was expecting didn't play. Took me a while to realise I had to turn the tape over.

Did the same when I got the case of "big black CDs" out of the loft.

I play mine every week,I have a player by the forge,this week I’ve been mainly listening to,blues brothers,fleetwood mac,wings,Macy’s gray.

I remember the Philips one which played 7” singles, presumably a passenger was required to change them!

A couple of years ago I saw one on a stand at a car show price tag was eye watering.
