All correct.few questions on the dodge,
How much does it cost to tune it?
What happens when you get to a corner in the truck compared to the lambo?
If I could hear one sound only for ever it wouldn’t be that asthmatic wheezing truck compared to the beautiful noise of the lambo. Having been lucky enough to drive them for a fair bit I’d have the lambo every day of the week
But the truck won’t have the same girl in attractiveness sat next to youAll correct.
until you need to tow 3500kg uphill across a field with another 1000kg in the “boot” , then the truck wins every time.
a more relevant test would be a petrol version against the diesel Cummins powered one.
They'll be in lycra on road bikes trying to keep up, or blocking the roadFour hipsters with beards in there maybe
I couldn't hear the car over the turbo.few questions on the dodge,

I put a set of rx8 mazda seats in a 90 a few months ago ,,,, what a tragedy , but the customer was happy ,.At last she runs again. Had some issues with the Chinese injectors I took a punt on (surprise surprise) so had to get another set of genuine Bosch 180hp injectors. Still wouldn’t go, so checked pump and found the injector line nearest to the block on the pump was weeping from the fitting.
Nipped that up and it was trying but still not having it, bled injectors, got some air out but not horrendous amounts and still no chooch. Had a bit of a stamp around and paddy and then remembered that when I took the pump apart to put in the 3200rpm governor spring I had to unwind the throttle tickover adjust screw……. Bet you can guess where this is going! Bit of trial and error (mostly error) and away she went. Now fires on the second turn!
Also managed to salvage a pair of leather Audi A3 s line seats, just the job! Need to get a smaller steering wheel now tho
it was the getting in and out that was the issue ,, ok once your in , but a pita and that was without a steering wheel fitted , i went to a lot of bother getting them as low as possible , custom made mounts that didnt add 5mm to the height of the seat , drivers seat was so low it had to be raised to slide over the tank cover ,,, I dont thing the seat squab bits would last two months ,, there was about two mm between the seat sqabs and the door , and only about the same at the b post , separate electric system put in to run them , and a very sneaky lift out set up on both seats so the battery could be accessed ,,, as well as an anderson connector for jumping and charging without messing about with the seat at all ,,, lots of work , and lots of expense ,, again I probably should have taken some pics. The alfa one I used is quite chunky and required a smaller wheel but I couldn't go back to a normal defender seat now.
A nice air operated shifter for the diff lock. In hindsight I should have got him to bosh me out an extended arm but a bit of gorilla welding never hurt anyone
I’ve measured it so that full extension it will be held just on its detent, I’ll put a collar on the ram to prevent it retracting too farDan without some positive stops on that lever there will be a constant pressure on the hi/lo selector fork in either direction, the detents wont hold it. It will knob it in the same way a gearbox selector fork wears when someone is in the habit of resting there hand on a gearstick.
