My grandad bought my Nan (who is almost unable to use anything electronic) a Wi-Fi router for Christmas, she didn’t even know what Wi-Fi was. Then he also got a camera stand and she was still on the wind up camera types we were all crying laughing having to explain what they were for.

My ol woman sent me out this morning with strict instructions to find a nice small Xmas tree and nothingstupid size. No worries gal leave it to the lad...an hour later and 7ft of tree .job done. Although squeezing it in to a daihatsu sirion and driving back was challenging .

how about a purple laundry basket ? I have to say it was greeted with a certain degree of surprise.The transition from looking at the wrapped parcel to the realisation as to what it was was priceless. A couple of years ago i bought her a bigger TV for the bedroom ,installed it at 2am and waited to see the reaction. It took 2 B****y days before she noticed ,talk about a damp squib.

I think someone must be messing about with the post. I ordered a few girlie bits and pieces for swmbo a while back, seems to have got mixed up somewhere along the line, all the box had in it was flap discs,a chuck key and some electrical switches
