Alloy M42, 8% CoI thought cobalt drills were best for stainless steel?
half the speed and twice the pressure is what i was told forty years ago ,,, its not exact but it gives you an idea.easy if u have a half decent folder and it drills a doddle using a quality hss drill slow speed and cutting compound and a fair pressure or it will just rub
These are goodBe aware of it overheating when using sanding discs,I’ve never found an ideal grit type that helps prevent this and wears sufficient to release new sharp grains,I find you have to move about onto a new area before it goes straw coloured.
