I've just refurbished my kitchen.
Added around 10m of stainless steel worktops, repurposed from restaurant "prep tables".
So the have a fair amount of left over bits from the frames: 1mm(?) sheet. 25mm box. To make "something" with.
I have a TIG welder.
I've actually got some SS rods that I could stick weld it with.
But:
I've never worked with SS before.
Is there anything I need to know?
Chromium poisoning from the welding fumes?
Work hardening? Special drill bits?
I know about the "cross contamination" thing:
Different angry grinder disks etc. rather than the ones I've used on mild steel.
