are but did you remember to include the side over hangs once you clad it on the sides
so that would mean you are 2-4" out on the sides ?
I guess I could cheat and use 5/8" plywood instead of the two sheets of 3/4" I bought for the job
It (life) will get you, no matter how you plan things. Personally, I'd stick with the 3/4" you have as it be the stronger of the two for when BFH is inevitably called to serve at some future, indeterminate time.
