Wood Effect Flooring

Recently did/doing a micro-camper. Decided to embrace the lino and got some of that sort of industrial stuff you might see in a hospital or nursery or similar.

Very similar to this;

Looks/feels very hard-wearing and am happy with the results

@angellonewolf I only plan to keep the van another year to then upgrade to a bigger one, So yeah don't want to go too crazy on outlay

I did notice there is quite a difference in Vinyl flooring thickness! I can only imagine the thicker stuff is more durable

its not the the depth of the full lino its the thickness of the topping the extra is the foam that give comfert under feet the topping is the hardness

Nothing complicated, removable slats RHS, solid storage LHS, cooker in a pull out drawer at the back. Foam on top.

Needed to be all removable

@angellonewolf I bought it off the shelf from Halfords, Not a perfect match, But good enough for me!

@angellonewolf I must admit I find getting good paint matches a challenge

Had a Silver car previously & that was a nightmare, Red probably isn't much better!

If I wanted it to be spot on, Then I would probably call in a professional

my new ones silver metalic the holts paint is dire miles out

but its covered and rust free it will do till the properpaint shops open i can get a match paint by computer

Have a look at Karndean plank flooring, it looks like wood & if it gets damaged you can lift individual planks with a hot air gun. We’ve got it in the kitchen & hall, been down 20 years & still looks good. Not cheap but good.

+1 for Karndean. The whole of our downstairs is covered in it.

In regards to flooring I have bitten the bullet & gone for self adhesive vinyl planks from B&Q

They weren't the cheapest, But happy with the quality

Will upload some pictures when I've made further progress

We moved a shipment of flooring from Italy back to the UK a few months ago. Pallets were over weight so we had to repack for a tail lift delivery.
It looked like high quality oak laminate flooring with a lovely grain. It was actually ceramic tiles! Lovely stuff but I bet very very expensive.

We moved a shipment of flooring from Italy back to the UK a few months ago. Pallets were over weight so we had to repack for a tail lift delivery.
It looked like high quality oak laminate flooring with a lovely grain. It was actually ceramic tiles! Lovely stuff but I bet very very expensive.

A friend in Cornwall has had that laid in their new house, I agree, it looks just like a very expensive wood floor.

That's inside, where its protected from the sun.
On the outside, that red will gradually bleach until the only way to get a match is custom made paint.

Give it two years, most of the roof will be on the drive.
Along with the wheel arches, and the sills, and the chassis cross rails.
And the a-pillar.
And the B pillar.
And the bottom ofthe doors.
And...
