I've always been told, take the chute off for towing. Would make a mess if it came off down the motorway!

Definite weights, can't say. However, both hopper & chute readily liftable. I assembled it alone. Rough guess, between 15kg to 25kg apiece. The hopper is awkward due to size more than weight. Wheels, a good size, so roughly double a sack truck type wheel. I'd say max. 10kg per wheel.
