About time I posted progress in this. I’ve been using the vice in half-finished state for a while but it’s not ideal to have it like that.

Anyway I’m going away this weekend so I painted it all up and left it to dry, so I can multitask

The turquoise is as close to original as I could get and I have to say it makes a nice change from blue. I’ll put some pics up when she’s all reassembled.

Getting there on this. All reassembled now, just some excess paint to clean off the jaws but so far I’m very happy.

Need to start thinking about building a better bench for this, the Fobco and the Selecta grinder. The current one is falling apart.

Very interesting feed, thanks. I’ve just finished doing up my dad’s 190A/8A. It’s rough around the edges but beautifully machined components. Will hopefully last another lifetime now!
