I have a large lump of oak that I bought and cut to make a window sill but the far right hand end in the picture is thinner than the rest, it's got a large knot and came like this but I didn't realize how it would show up until I put it in place
I'm not sure if I'll make the rest more "rustic" to match or try to reduce the thickness of the whole thing to even it out (about 15mm)
I don't have a planer thicknesser so how can I do this?
I have a circular saw, electric plane, jigsaw, router etc but can't think of an easy way to take off this much material accurately.
Any ideas?
