It really depends. A mate has a Ranger Raptor because he's got back into deer stalking big time. The boot on that is a decent size but that's because the vehicle is huge, it's 7ft wide for Pete's sake.I can't see the point of having a crew cab pickup, the bed ends up stupidly short. Better off getting an old boxy Volvo, loads of room and comfortable.
The crew cab means that the wife and daughter have space to sit, huge boot for stuff. I'd say it's a used vehicle but not a "working" vehicle if you see what I mean. For him it works well as it is a compromise of all things. For me the 110 (ex-)Station Wagon is a better suit because you can fit longer stuff in being all enclosed. I've changed the rear windowed panels for solid sides.
