Hi,
I'm currently, albeit slowly, restoring a 1995 Suzuki Cappuccino. There's small areas of rust and corrosion dotted around the car which will need to be cut out and new metal welded in. I've done a bit of research and it seems that a system with gas and a low of 30A is the way to go. I don't have any experience with fabrication or welding but I intend to do a couple of in-person courses before I start working on my own car.
Budget: £400 (could stretch to £500 if it's really worth it)
Location: Brighton, England
I've been considering the following welders:
- SIP 05793 Autoplus Mini 130
- Any Clarke welder with a few voltage switches (SIP & GYS have voltage dials so surely better?)
- GYS EasyMIG 130 MIG Welder
Thanks!
