true, but you wont see many beaten and grimy ones on hereRight, and you will never know before you try it in my experience. Even respectable manufacturers may have fake tech specs as it was for CEA in my case.
Buying used without extensive tryout is a lottery. Buying new listen to the guys here or it will be the same lottery without demo. If one says something is good then perhaps it is, but when several over the years are praising the same machine then pay attention! Even better when there are photos of ongoing work with the mentioned welder in the background, beaten and grimy, but still going strong.
