One guy in work has a Tesla (had it for 3 years) and at the time it was about the only long distance option. He gets cheaper pricing at super chargers because he has a Tesla - I think.I'd be interested to hear from anyone on here who owns a Tesla...I think their charging network is well sorted out so I can imagine that removes a huge amount of the hassle maybe?
Also what's their pricing like...I was paying £20 to add 100 miles at a rapid charger. My hybrid can do 100 with about £10 of petrol!
The other guy has a polestar (had it about 12 months) and uses the Tesla network for charging when out and about. It’s obviously more expensive than home charging, but he did say as long as he’s not charging out more than ~50% of the time then it works in his favour. I seem to recall it’s comparable with filling up with petrol, but I couldn’t swear to that as I’ve not used it myself.
