185 70 13 are for 51/2" rims. Fitted on 4" rims they'll look more like motor cycle tyres13" and I'm very flexible about width as I'm looking at changing at least 2 tyres, maybe more as I have 2 spare rims.
It has 155s on now, I'm looking at going up to 175 or 185 if I can find some...
I know roofing felt is for sheds, but there are limits. If its anything like the Marina's I recall, the problem will be getting close enough to any other vehicle to worry about braking distances
My sister had an 1800TC, supposedly the sporty one. The only thing it did fast was guzzle fuel & shed bits (funniest being when on the M4 - there was a sudden tearing noise, & the Vinyl roof peeled off & got left behind)

A shame I need small bore and 99% of their stuff is big bore. I found a straight pipe so will try that.. it won't be the first time I've run a straight pipe
@sako243
What size did you go for?Update (mainly good news for a change)
4 new Trakmax tyres ordered from Tyreleader - price was too good to
ignore @qwakers
Nice chap at Profab exhausts let me raid his scrap pile, all of their junk was better than what's on my carA shame I need small bore and 99% of their stuff is big bore. I found a straight pipe so will try that.. it won't be the first time I've run a straight pipe

One of sealed beam headlights failed on the drive last night, I'm now
looking at H4 conversion lights..
Speeding in this isn't a problem, in the 50 mile drive last night on the motorway I only passed 1 vehicle and that was a hgv![]()
Thats a blast from the past, used them for tyres many decades agoTown Tyres up on the gas works estate in morriston might have something to suit, don't advertise as they get plenty of customers going back !!
In the end I ordered 165/80s.What size did you go for?

I'm moving around a bit on this trip but mainly Midlands and various parts of Wales. A shame but you're just a bit too far away to detour this timeShame your not a bit closer, bet we could find something to do the job![]()

Demon Tweeks used to sell a telescopic front damper kit for them, I fitted one to an Ital when I was an apprentice, may have done 2..Not if you declare them to your insurer. Also, Marinas were never exactly renowned for their pin-sharp handling.
@Nomad The standard wider fitment for 155-13 is 175/70-13, anything else will cause the speedo to be inaccurate.
185/60 will be way too small, I saw a cortina for sale with that size tyres the other day and they looked silly.

I had a Marina that colour and another in a sort of $hit brown, both the gutless 1.3L, neither officially made the road as both were as rotten as a pear2 rims painted, 4 new tyres waiting to be fitted

The car came with 2 spare rims so I’m painting the wheels by instalments 2 at a time …
Uncles 1600 GT Mk1 facelift Capri did that, on M4 too. It didnt come off but ballooned. he couldn't understand what had happened as it was holding the car back. That is until he stopped at Leigh Delamare services. If its anything like the Marina's I recall, the problem will be getting close enough to any other vehicle to worry about braking distances

Not Michelin Pilot Sport then ?2 rims painted, 4 new tyres waiting to be fitted
