The Mazda clutch is completely different size and shape to the VAG one so not really do-able.
Not the friction plate, the splined centre, take it out of the mazda plate, and press/machine/weld it into the centre of the VAG friction plate. I've done half a dozen like that.
Actually, a few of them were for the other way around, putting the Mazda engine on a different 'box
If you can't manage that yourself, CG motorsport in Leeds will make you a plate with a different centre in. And a flywheel if need be.
