My first car was a Toyota SR coupe. 1275cc of twin carbed lethargy.

Beleive it or not I got my licence at 14 years of age.But because I was to be 15 in a weeks time and the council office was shutting for Christmas they thought it was ok. I had my HGV and trailer at 17, someone needed to tow the water bowser behind the forestry fire engine and I was the man ( boy) for the job.

If you were lucky and ran one of the cotton reel tanks on well well dry floated smoothed concrete in summer using a live Englands Glory match instead of a safety match on the concrete sometime it would strike a light .
