What will you use for the windscreen?

I'm with Pete on that one, glass is probably the best

It was designed for a fiat 500 screen l think but as I've added 9" to the width it clearly won't fit unless I use a lot of silicon sealer side, I will have a wander around my local scrap yard with a tape measure, must be something close I can remake the A posts if need be
and I might still go back to a traditional beach buggy shell as I picked up a second hand one yesterday , will need to offer both up and see what fits best

Could you eyeball a few screen of an appropriate width and have the whole front section cut out of the car too take a mould from, knowing that the screen will then fit. Cheaper than custom screen maybe ?

I wasn't meaning what material so much, although acrylic would be a get out of jail card. It was more did you have an idea what windscreen you might be able to modify to fit.

I know I was being flippant, I need to measure a few cars and find something near, ideally a convertible so the windscreen frame has a finisher and fixings should I want a soft too
New shape beetle convertible springs to mind
