What's in your garage???

No pictures, or video. As @Parm said, It's not a very good idea to advertise what you've git. Any how. Projects in the single garage at the moment are. A scale model of a Mechanical horse based on a three wheel mobility scooter. Nowhere near finished yet. A load of poles that I use in re-enactment. ( they hold my tent and workshop up) They had rotted at the ends due to being stored outside on my trailer. Made up and welded,( I do sometimes weld stuff!) Collars for the ends. now in paint

I thought long and hard before posting this but a couple of things do spring to mind here.

First off, if you prefer to keep your stuff to yourself then that's absolutely understandable and I don't knock it.

But I think the sort of burglar who is a. able, and b. willing, to go to the sort of trouble to surf forums looking for things to pinch, tracking them down and nicking them is going to be looking for something he can steal away in the middle of the night and whisk away on a ferry to eastern Europe to make lots of money out of. I really don't think he (or she) is likely to be in the market for the sorry collection of old cars I, or most of us, have in our sheds.

Now if any of you have been targetted in this way then you genuinely have my sympathy and I hope you had a satisfactory outcome.

Around here, the sort of people that try and jemmy their way into a shed are looking for something they can take down the pub and sell for a tenner to finance their next fix!

If you google me or any of the cars, all you'll find is a picture of the GT6 in Bristol and an airport in Ohio! Assuming you've found my name already

Finally, woke up to a lovely sunny morning and two of them are now clean!

I suppose most of us make a risk assessment before posting pictures. I have certainly posted pics of my garage/shed on here and was not concerned.

I live in a relatively remote area, all my neighbours know me and would happily walk over and challenge a stranger or strange van on our dead end road. Crime is very low here, plenty folk still don't lock their doors when they go out, or their cars as folk tend to look out for each other.

I have lived in the central belt of Scotland in the past and I have been burgled, not a pleasant experience and if I still lived there I would be more careful. ( I have kept a nunchaku at my bedside ever since).

Even where I live now I have invested in some security measures, the details of which I will not post.

I still hate parking my bike or Defender in Glasgow, though have been lucky the few times I have.

It doesn't look much like a mobility scooter now! Stalled with the speed controller. Bought 4 yes 4 of the bay and blew all of them up!

didn't come with one, just the bare chassis and wheels, which is what I wanted. I thought I could get one online cheap enough. Obviously I'm under speccing what I need as the load is to high for the controller

No photos but there’s a boat in my garage - there’s about 10mm to spare either side and the cuddy roof when it goes in and out. Jockey in wrong position equals a wedged boat . So much nicer than working outdoors.
