Weld on some fins, paint it dark green then drive round one night looking for some excavation works. Half-bury it in the mud and wait for the fireworks...
For added fun factor cut a hole in it and insert a noisy old clock... I have one here you can use, it's like death-watch beetle at night.

If you could get another one and some suitable bar/tube and a bearing, you could cut them in half and use three of the resultant hemispheres to build a really big annemometer :-)
This has given me an idea what to do with those disposable gas bottles I've got kicking around.
P.s. I still have the tank tucked away under my workbench waiting for a use.
