Cut it in half using a series of angled cuts to give triangles, like petals on a flower.Gives you two near identical pots, bend the 'petals' over, cut a few holes in the bottom and weld legs on them.
Instant fire pots. Yes more fire, but no function other than a nice thing to make small fires in and we all like playing with fires especially the little ones.
I have a similar one at The RatCave, in fact two. If I remember I will get photo's.

Or weld a flat ring/disc round the top one to make a bowler hat and cut Alex's face from Clockwork Orange out of the bottom for a bizarre garden thingy you could even fit night lights in it for a scary lantern thingy.

I like the clockwork orange idea, but Im no sculpturer....yet

I almost decided on the deep sea diving helmet but I am now toying with the idea of either a forge or even a waste oil burner.

For added fun factor cut a hole in it and insert a noisy old clock... I have one here you can use, it's like death-watch beetle at night.

If you could get another one and some suitable bar/tube and a bearing, you could cut them in half and use three of the resultant hemispheres to build a really big annemometer :-)

I missed this one at the time but it's definitely my favourite.

I work in a missile factory and some of the scrap that has to go for secure disposal could result in HUUUUGEE fun if I could "borrow" it and bury it in some strategic places.

Dont talk to me about annemometers, Im still waiting for mine to arrive from about 2 months ago. The missing parcel time expired about 2 days ago, so they should now refund my money.

P.s. I still have the tank tucked away under my workbench waiting for a use.

This has given me an idea what to do with those disposable gas bottles I've got kicking around.

It always seems a shame to sling them so they end up kicking around under the bench for years.

Now what sort of fins would look most convincing..........

This has given me an idea what to do with those disposable gas bottles I've got kicking around.

Empty them,flush em out,cut the bottoms off,weld them end to end at the bottoms.....hey presto tanks for making a DIY compressor.

Where the valves was located,one end for input t'other for output.
Drill a hole for pressure switch,weld a suitable size nut over the hole for pressure switch.
