Thanks for that chart. I always wondered why Hyspin 68 hydraulic seemed about the same viscocity as 15-40 motor oil and 80 grade gear oil. Incidentally the big difference between hydraulic oil and ATF is ATF has additives to increase friction. Why? Because auto transmissions have brake bands and/or friction discs inside and they have to grip. I would guess Tractor transmission oil will be the same, as wet brakes on tractors need to grip too.
