If you start seeing large tonne pressures on the press, then it gets a bit a scary. I have a 20 tonne ram press like your final photo. If things don't start moving by the 10 tonne mark it gets rather worrying.

Got a 15 ton floor - standing one here, and hasn't ever been defeated by motorcycle stuff.
Then again, it's wise to circle press work very warily , so heat and penetrating fluids are extensively used in preference to brute force.
The avoidance of brute force is where the manometer becomes really, really useful.
If can also give an insight into locking fluid resistance characteristics....

The third one is what I'd choose. I have one that's a combination of the other two and I don't like it. The "ram" was bent by someone else. It probably bent because it can move around as it's like the second one, not the first. The third one is designed like many of the old professional ones that were made and sold here (but likely to a lower standard). I'd suggest buying a used hydraulic press but they do go for high prices, probably because the new ones aren't great.

The prices really are disproportionately high for what you get, until you get into the 100+ ton region.

It's one of the few cases of a tool where it would probably make financial sense to make your own, even as a business.

I've seen that with 200 euro you can make a 30 ton hydraulic press and it's what I'm going to do once the workshop is built

If you get , the 3rd one, you can take pump of and use it , for other things. Like this hollow ram, for pulling, or pressing.View attachment 490382

Them hollow rams are brilliant, I have one I use all the time for truck spring eye bushes, downside is when the bush has no hole in it!
