What is this?

Is this a radial arm drill or pillar drill?
It's apparently Swedish and called
Aktiebolaget .

It's no use to me as I have a decent pillar drill but it's massive and might do someone a good turn on here.

It's just a big pillar drill. A radial drill goes in and out too as well as round

I would call it a pillar drill as the head dosent traverse along an arm.

just a pillar drill, rdial arm drill allows the head to move back and forth, as well as swing around. used to use a huge one in work that was motorized becasue it was so large

that may be handy if it takes MT collets as it will also take MT drills, but if its a strange collet size then it could be quite limited

That looks like a keyless chuck to me. It's not a radial drill either, just a big regular drill.

. Yes, it does appear to be a collet. It looks to be a bit small given the enormous column etc.
