I had that concept with my lathe it took 4 years but when it popped up I had it in my hands within 12 hoursif it was a lot cheaper i would consider it, I cant be bothered driving all that way one will turn up a lot closer.

I have a plant trailer and a pick up.....do I forsee a retirment income hereMy 2-ton mill was about an 8 hour round trip with a rented Hilux and plant trailer - worth it!

good effort That does look a lumpForklift to get it on, the seller had one at his workshop - getting it back off was slower! I jacked one edge up at a time with a trolley-jack and used my brother-in-law's machine skates and the trailer's ramps, used a pair of ratchet straps to control the descent, easy 1-man job but time-consuming with running back and forth checking the skates, slackening the straps, easing it a few inches with a long prybar, rinse and repeat - hardest bit was laying a "railway" of 6x1 boards to get it across the crumbling tarmac:

Could have loaded it via the ramps, but the trailer didn't have a winch - I've previously used one with, worked fine for 2&1/2 tons of lathe!
