Lovely looking machine @Arc Tourist, is that an original 370 W motor on the vertical head? If so do you find the power adequate? When I purchased my Tom senior mill which was formally from a school, it came with a pair of inverters and speed control units for both horizontal and vertical applications. Hear are several photos.
Edit : Click on the Inverter photo to enlarge for clearer reading of information on it.

Yes, its the original motor. Both inverters on the mill ( which are the same model ) work off of 13 amp receptacles, and power is adequate.Lovely looking machine @Arc Tourist, is that an original 370 W motor on the vertical head? If so do you find the power adequate?
Sorry, my question was meant to be do you find the 370 Watt motor adequate? I believe some folk fit 750 W (1 HP).Yes, its the original motor. Both inverters on the mill ( which are the same model ) work off of 13 amp receptacles.
No problem, I downloaded a manual from the Tom Senior Milling Machines page on Facebook,Can't seem to get the www. address for downloading a Tom Senior mill manual to post. It shows up on my favourites list, and I can access it, but comes up that the site doesn't exist when I post the link here ? I'll try again soon.
